Travis County Civil and Family Courts Facility
Jeff represented Travis County in connection with the procurement, financing, and development of a 448,000 square-foot courthouse complex located in Downtown Austin, in partnership with the Hunt Company. The project was procured using a turnkey delivery model under to a short-term ground lease. The Courthouse was awarded the Commercial Real Estate Deal of the Year for 2020 by the Austin Business Journal.

Austin Light Rail
Jeff provides multidisciplinary support to Austin Transit Partnership, a local government corporation created to finance and develop a new high-capacity light rail system in Austin. Jeff supports ATP in a wide range of areas, including corporate governance, procurement matters, intergovernmental contracts, and real estate matters.

Downtown East
Jeff represented the City of Pflugerville in a public-private partnership with Griffin-Swinerton, for the development of a mixed-use downtown complex in the heart of Pflugerville. The project is anchored by a new state-of-the-art city hall and multi-generational recreation center. Once fully completed, the development will feature multi-family, commercial, and retail uses, centered around a community plaza.

Permian Basin Behavioral Health Center
Jeff represented the Texas Facilities Commission on a development partnership with a local government corporation for the financing, design, and construction of the Permian Basin Medical Center. The facility will serve Texans across 20 counties. The health center will anchor a new medical district, with participation from Midland County, Odessa County, and the University of Texas - Permian Basin.

The Austin Cultural Trust
Jeff represented Rally Austin, a local government corporation formed by the City of Austin, in its early stages, during which he wrote policies and helped establish a public-facing governance structure. Jeff led the negotiation of an interlocal agreement with the City of Austin to establish the Austin Cultural Trust, dedicated to preserving Austin's iconic venues and supporting local artists facing affordability challenges due to rising real estate costs.

Hotel 1928
Jeff represented a private investment bank to issue a series of notes used to finance the enabling infrastructure for Hotel 1928, in Waco, Texas, developed by Chip and Joanna Gaines. The notes were secured by tax increment funds that were paid through a reimbursement agreement with the City of Waco.
